Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets opened on 1 March 2021 and we are very proud to be the first Hotel Indigo in the Australiasian region. Located next to the lively Adelaide Central Market, our hotel champions local producers in our two venues – Market & Meander Bar and Eatery, and rooftop raw food bar, Merrymaker which is the highest rooftop bar in Adelaide.

Does Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets have a COVID-19 Safe Plan?
Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets has redefined cleanliness and wellbeing throughout your stay. Our IHG Way of Clean program has now been expanded with additional COVID-19 protocols and best practices to reflect the advice of the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and local public health authorities in markets around the world. Can I reserve a parking space at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets? Do you have a car park?
Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets does not have an onsite car park, however, two parking options are available offsite:
Self-parking is available at U Park Grote Street, with access at 82 Grote Street – right next to the Adelaide Central Bus Terminal. This is less than a 500m walk from the hotel entrance (approx a 10-15 mins walk at a casual pace). The cost is $25.00 for 1-Exit or 24-hrs from the time of entering the car park for self-parking. Self-parking tickets can be acquired from the hotel reception to get the discounted $25.00 per day parking. Valet parking is available for $49.00/day. Valet Parking is also a single exit per day. Please check in to the hotel, drop off your bags and receive parking information from our Reception Team before parking in all instances to access these rates.
What is the parking height clearance for the car parks used at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets?
Self Park - U Park Grote Street has a clearance of 2.10m. Valet Parking has a clearance of 2.02m
Where is the closest public transport to Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets?
The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to transport with free CBD trams in Victoria Square only a short walk away. The Airport Bus Stops a few blocks away (Currie Street) and you can either walk (12 mins) to the hotel from there or catch the free tram one stop back to Victoria Square.
Does Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets offer guests a shuttle service to and from Adelaide Airport?
This service is not available but if you would like a private car service or a taxi, please let our guest team know and they will assist.

Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets accepts all credit cards, EFTPOS and Debit Cards as forms of payment. Credit cards all attract a 1.5% surcharge except Diners Card which attracts a 3% surcharge. Please note that cash is not kept on the premises

Can I leave my luggage before/after check-in/out at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets?
Yes, guests are welcome to leave their luggage with the team after departure at no charge.
Can I have an early check-in?
Early arrivals can be requested, but not guaranteed before 2 pm unless the room is booked and paid for the night prior. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to drop your bags off with the team and utilise the hotel facilities until the room is ready.

Check in to the hotel is from 2 pm. Please call ahead or let our team know your estimated time of arrival and we will do our best to accommodate you

Guests must be 18 years of age minimum to check into Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets or be accompanied by an adult.

You may request a late check-out however it is subject to availability and may incur a late checkout fee.

Do I have to pay a bond on check-in?
Yes, If paying by debit card, full payment plus $100 per night bond is required on check-in. If using a credit card, a pre-authorization of the total accommodation is required and a guarantee of $50 per night will be held for any incidentals.
Do I need a photo ID to check-in?
Yes, a valid Australian Drivers License or passport will be required for check-in.
Does Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets have rooms with a bath?
Some of our Indigo Suites at the hotel offer bathtubs, please select this category if you require a bath and we will do our best to accommodate your request. All other room types offer dual rain and hand-held showers.
How do I book a room with a balcony at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets?
Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets offers several room types with a balcony, you will need to specifically book a suite with a balcony noted in its' room name.
Does Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets have rooms with connecting doors?
We have double key rooms meaning there is a door to the main hotel hallway and then a smaller hallway with two separate room doors that open into full-sized rooms. The main hallway door can be closed off to create a private area with the two rooms for your use accessed via the internal smaller hallway. These can be requested and are subject to availability. Please contact reservations to book the specific room types which have this double key option.
Does Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets have family rooms?
Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets does not have family rooms, however, we can offer double key rooms, suites can have a rollaway added to allow for 3 guests (at an additional charge) and our twin rooms can hold up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children sharing existing bedding.
What is the maximum capacity for your rooms?
Our King Standard, Premium, Corner and Accessible rooms all accommodate a maximum of 2 guests. Our Twin Standard rooms hold up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children* sharing existing bedding. Suites can accommodate 2 guests as standard, however, can accommodate an extra guest with a rollaway. Rollaways are charged an additional $75 per night. Please contact reservations to book a rollaway bed in your suite
*children are defined as being under the age of 12. 12 years and above are considered adults.
Can I bring guests back to my room at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets?
Due to fire codes only registered in-house guests are allowed into rooms. Guests can be met in Merrymaker Rooftop Bar, Mezzanine or in the lobby and Market & Meander area.
What Is The Maximum Age For A Child Sharing A Room At Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets
Children are considered to be below 12 years of age. Above this age, additional room charges and extra beds may be required. Please contact our reservation team to confirm if you have any questions.
What are the dining options at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets?
Market & Meander Bar and Eatery is our main dining venue offering modern Australian cuisine complemented by our local producers and friends at the Adelaide Central Market. It is open daily for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and is on our ground floor. Merrymaker Rooftop Bar is on level 16, is the highest rooftop bar in Adelaide and features a raw food experience, try local fresh oysters and seafood or artisan cheeses and charcuterie. Warmer options are also always on offer such as sweet potato fries and our Dairy Man’s Smoked Leg Ham & Monterosso Cheese Toastie
What does Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets offer for breakfast? What does the breakfast inclusive rate offer?
We offer daily breakfast in Market & Meander, you can check out the menu here. For guests on an inclusive rate, breakfast includes our pantry continental offering including cereals, pastries, yoghurt, juices, fruits, toast and preserves which you can enjoy and select at your leisure plus a choice of one item from our a la carte menu.
Can I book out Merrymaker for a private function or event?
We can organise a private function in Merrymaker Rooftop Bar on nights where the rooftop is not open to the public - Sundays (after 6 pm) or any time Monday or Tuesday. For opening nights we can host smaller groups of up to 30 people with a minimum spend. Check out our Meet & Celebrate section for more information or to request a quote for your function.
Does Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets have a fitness centre or Gym?
Yes, the fitness centre is located on level 4 and is available 24 hours, this is accessible by your room key only.
Is there a pool at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets?
Yes, the hotel has a heated outdoor infinity pool open from 6 am to 9 pm daily, this is accessible by your room key only.
Is free wifi offered at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets?
Yes, Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets has free WIFI and is available in all areas of the hotel and all rooms. Simply connect to IHG Connect and either put in your room number and surname, IHG rewards number or email, outside guests can see a localhost to give you the access code when you dine with us.

Does Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets have a Business Centre?
We do not have a business centre; however, the hotel has free wi-fi throughout. Our mezzanine level is an area you can work with some semi-private spaces. Printing and copying can be accommodated by our Hotel Services Team, please see them at reception.
Does Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets have any meeting spaces available?
Yes, we have 2 spaces on our Mezzanine Level, The Sloan and Vickers rooms can be hired for private or semi-private meetings, both feature teleconferencing facilities and plasma TVs with Chrome Cast abilities to share presentations, collaborate or video conference. Find out more here
What attractions are located near Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets?
Our hotel is right in the heart of Adelaide. The Adelaide Central Markets and Adelaide China town are at your doorstep meters away. Her Majesty’s Theatre is a short stroll of less than 500m. Adelaide Oval, Rundle Mall and the Adelaide Festival Centre can be walked in less than 20 mins or catch a free Tram from Victoria Square. Similarly, the Art Gallery of South Australia, SA Museum and other cultural attractions are just beyond Rundle mall and easily walked to or accessed using the Free intra-city Trams. Adelaide Convention Centre Is a 22 min walk or short free 4 stop train ride from Victoria Square. Adelaide Entertainment Centre is accessible on the Free tram and is 7 stops away with trams leaving every 15 minutes.
